Studio Design Inc is a people-centric, multi-disciplinary boutique design studio based in Mumbai, co-founded by Kunal Khandelwal and Khushboo Khandelwal. The studio also integrates craft into its design ethos, having collaborated with artisans and NGOs like Ekibeki to weave tangible cultural value into projects.
One of its landmark works includes The Colosseum, a curated multi-storeyed experience centre in Hyderabad designed as a confluence of concepts, showcasing everything from bespoke furniture and lighting to furnishings and lifestyle accessories.
Kunal leads the business development, sourcing, and client relations at SDI, bringing clarity and structure to the design and execution process. Khushboo, the creative force behind the studio, steers the conceptual and design development, drawing inspiration from cultural studies and her passion for travel and literature.
Together, they drive a nimble, dynamic team that thrives on experimentation, empathy, and excellence in design.
