Crafted for a family of four, Vaulted Haus is a 4,300 sq. ft. apartment in Mumbai that redefines urban living through architectural finesse and a monochromatic palette. The homeowners, long-time admirers of the designers’ work, envisioned a distinctive home inspired by bold architectural elements like vaulted ceilings, gabion walls, and translucent glass bricks. The result is a clutter-free, functionally planned space that feels equal parts minimal and welcoming—tailored for intimate family life and lively gatherings. Designed as cohesive volumes rather than compartmentalized rooms, every part of the home expresses sculptural elegance and subtle warmth. The vaulted forms were both a visual and technical feat, challenging the designers to integrate lighting seamlessly within their curves. From the dark, sculptural entrance to the soft glow of glass bricks, the home balances sophistication, intimacy, and spatial drama.
