In the heart of Worli, one of Mumbai’s most dynamic neighbourhoods, The Zephyr emerges as a serene sanctuary infused with the timeless charm of Greece. Designed by Shimona Bhansali of DesignHex, this luxurious residence was born from a desire for “quiet luxury” — a space that could echo tranquillity without compromising on modern indulgence. Inspired by her travels to Santorini, Shimona brought back not just memories but a muse, channeling the island’s spirit into every detail of the home. The name “Zephyr,” meaning “winds from the west,” captures the airy openness and cross-ventilation that defines this thoughtfully planned space, formed by merging two apartments into one harmonious layout. With its Mediterranean-inspired palette — featuring Santorini blues, lava reds, and warm earthy tones — the home flows like a sun-drenched Grecian narrative, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Every room tells a story steeped in Hellenic beauty, grounded in Indian functionality and sensibility.
