The Hyundai Motor India Headquarters in Sector 29, Gurugram, stands as a contemporary corporate landmark that embodies the brand’s ethos of innovation, precision, and responsibility. Designed as an integrated workplace, it prioritizes employee wellbeing, collaboration, and sustainability—creating an environment that is both future-ready and deeply human-centric.
Located within one of Gurugram’s most vibrant mixed-use districts, the headquarters establishes an inviting presence with a porous ground plane, landscaped setbacks, and shaded outdoor zones that connect seamlessly with the public realm. At its heart lies a dramatic four-storey atrium, fostering visual connectivity and interaction across levels. The massing is softened through a series of terraces and breakout spaces, encouraging informal engagement while blurring boundaries between indoor and outdoor work environments.
Architecturally, the building’s crisp rectilinear volumes are expressed through a high-performance façade system featuring low-e double glazing, aluminum fins, and subtle frit patterns derived from Hyundai’s design language. This façade ensures solar efficiency while crafting a distinct visual identity that mirrors the brand’s precision and dynamism.
The interior design embraces activity-based working, featuring open-plan neighborhoods, collaborative lounges, focus pods, and flexible meeting areas. A multi-purpose town hall, dedicated training rooms, wellness facilities, and an in-house dispensary further enhance the holistic workplace experience. Workstations range from motion desks with height adjustment to ergonomic rhombus configurations, ensuring flexibility for varied working styles.
Sustainability remains central to the project. The headquarters integrates a 50kW solar rooftop array, 14 EV charging stations, HEPA-filtered HVAC systems, and a striking 4,000 sq. ft. living green wall that purifies air and enhances visual comfort. The structure, built on a hybrid steel and RCC system, provides large column-free spans, durability, and flexibility, reducing material wastage through precision engineering and prefabrication.
Compliant with Zone-5 earthquake safety standards, the building is engineered for resilience, efficiency, and longevity. Beyond its technological sophistication, it redefines workplace architecture as a space that balances corporate identity with care for people and the planet.
