Ameet Mirpuri, founder and creative force behind Ameet Mirpuri Design Studio based in Visakhapatnam, brings a distinctly personal and expressive approach to interiors. Born and raised in Vizag, Ameet’s journey into design began early, though he formally transitioned into the field after completing a degree in Business Administration and pursuing further studies in Pune. Despite the pull of bigger cities, he chose to return to his roots, building his practice from the ground up in his hometown.
Known for his laid-back charm and collaborative process, Ameet believes that design should be joyful, immersive, and personal. His aesthetic is bold yet balanced—fuss-free, layered, and rich with colour. He is unafraid to experiment with form, texture, and traditional craftsmanship, often drawing from Indian visual languages to inform contemporary expressions. His love for detail, curation, and storytelling through design gives each project a unique and rooted identity.
Over the years, Ameet has grown his studio into a 30-member team, taking on a diverse portfolio of work across India and abroad. From hospitality and retail to residential and wellness spaces, his designs reflect a sense of place and personality. His commitment to reviving traditional arts—especially from Andhra Pradesh—has also contributed to his distinct style and ethos.
His studio’s widely recognized projects include Novotel Visakhapatnam, Radisson Blu Resort, Farzi Café, and Fenicia across cities like Hyderabad, Kolkata, Goa, Vijayawada, and more.
Ameet continues to shape spaces that are bold, rooted, and unmistakably personal.
