Designed by Workshop for Metropolitan Architecture (WMA), the home embodies quiet luxury, transcending trends to achieve an architecture rooted in timelessness and calm sophistication.

Conceived as a seamless balance between form and function, modernity and tradition, and the built and the natural, the residence engages deeply with its surroundings. Flanked by the lush Delhi Zoological Forest, it feels less like an isolated structure and more like an intimate extension of the landscape. From the outset, the vision centred on connection—an effortless interplay between indoors and outdoors achieved through expansive openings, natural textures, and curated alignments that frame the greenery like living artworks.

The architecture appears to breathe with its environment. Light and shadow shift gently across surfaces, while every door and window opens to a tranquil garden vista. The material palette reflects the home’s understated spirit, employing muted pastels, soft contrasts, and delicate textures that radiate quiet refinement. This sense of restraint echoes the client’s desire for a home that feels evergreen—elegant, serene, and enduring.

Each floor unfolds as a distinct chapter in a continuous narrative. The ground floor adopts an essentialist language of clean lines and subtle detailing, with large windows dissolving boundaries between inside and out. Spaces such as the kitchen maintain warmth and openness, ensuring natural light and ventilation guide the experience throughout the day.

The first floor introduces an eclectic interplay of classical proportions and modern finishes, accented by gentle bursts of colour. Bedrooms overlook lush gardens, offering private sanctuaries where nature remains a quiet companion.

The second floor shifts in scale and emotion, designed as an entertainment level defined by a soaring thirty-foot ceiling and expansive openings that extend to the terrace. Here, architecture meets the sky, forming a space that feels both generous and intimate.

Sustainability forms the project’s core ethos. Powered entirely by solar energy, the home prioritises natural ventilation, daylight optimisation, and thermal comfort, demonstrating that luxury and environmental consciousness can coexist effortlessly.
