Set in a quiet Noida neighbourhood, its name, derived from the Sanskrit word for contentment, captures the home’s central philosophy: calm, grounded living shaped by empathy and gratitude. Designed as a heartfelt gift from a family to their parents, the home embodies togetherness and celebrates life’s simplest joys through mindful design.

The façade, defined by three sculptural arches, becomes an emblem of its identity—graceful, rhythmic, and welcoming. These arches are not mere aesthetic gestures but symbolic thresholds, ushering in natural light, air, and a sense of tranquility. Their curving forms introduce softness to the home’s geometry, setting a tone of quiet strength and emotional resonance. Within, spaces unfold gradually, revealing layers of material and mood—exposed brick walls, warm wooden textures, and smooth concrete planes working together in seamless dialogue rather than competition.

Originally a conventional builder floor, the structure was re-envisioned through a lens of sustainability and emotional depth. The design team retained the existing shell, minimizing demolition and material waste, while reconfiguring spaces to encourage openness, cross-ventilation, and abundant daylight. Natural materials—stone, cane, wood, and terrazzo—anchor the design in timeless tactility, their imperfections lending character and soul.

Interiors echo a sense of mindfulness. The living areas extend toward softly landscaped courtyards, allowing greenery to blur the boundaries between the built and natural worlds. Each bedroom tells a personal story, marked by subtle luxury and emotional texture—handcrafted murals in earthy hues, brass details that catch light, and intimate corners designed for pause and reflection. Bathrooms and the kitchen continue this narrative with a refined restraint: vein-matched marble, brushed metal finishes, and subdued sage tones evoke understated sophistication.
