Rachna Agarwal, Founder and Design Ideator of Studio IAAD and co-founder of ZOERA, brings over 25 years of experience in architecture and interior design. A TVB School of Habitat Studies alumna, she champions avant-garde, sustainable, and biophilic design. Her award-winning work blends innovation, balance, and emotional resonance across diverse typologies.
Located in the heart of Noida, the Godrej Woods Clubhouse spans over 40,000 square feet and serves as a seamless bridge between nature and architecture. Conceived as an organic extension of the residences, the design fosters a dialogue between the built and the natural, evoking comfort, continuity, and understated luxury. Rooted in the philosophy of biophilic design, the clubhouse integrates abundant greenery, curated artworks, and minimalist spatial compositions to create environments that promote wellness, relaxation, and social connection.
Every spatial layer within the clubhouse is crafted to engage the senses while maintaining an atmosphere of calm sophistication. At the stilt level, the design accommodates a variety of communal and functional spaces — a welcoming reception, a reading lounge that invites quiet contemplation, a multipurpose hall for events, a squash court, a crèche, a mini-plex for intimate screenings, and meeting rooms designed for focused engagement. These spaces are unified through warm materials, natural finishes, and an earthy palette that ensures visual and tactile harmony.
Ascending to the podium level, the clubhouse transitions into a more vibrant and social realm. Here, an all-day dining café, a games lounge, and a children’s party zone are infused with a Mykonos-inspired spirit, featuring hues of white and blue that exude breezy Mediterranean charm. This level balances leisure and liveliness, providing residents with spaces to gather, celebrate, and unwind.
The first floor is designed as a sanctuary of wellness, hosting a fully equipped gym, yoga room, spa, salon, and steam and sauna facilities—all illuminated by natural light streaming through expansive glazing. The spatial planning encourages mindfulness and rejuvenation, turning everyday routines into restorative experiences.
Embracing the timeless elegance of Japandi design, the interiors blend Japanese serenity with Nordic warmth—where simplicity meets comfort, and craftsmanship meets restraint. The thoughtful inclusion of biophilic accents, earthy textures, and curated artworks further enhances the sense of tranquility.
The Godrej Woods Clubhouse stands as a celebration of harmony—between people and place, design and nature. Through its sensitive spatial planning and tranquil materiality, it transforms daily living into an experience of calm indulgence, embodying a lifestyle that is both contemporary and deeply connected to nature.
